Thursday 5th September the walking  group went to visit the Jurassic World exhibition in Manchester.

We boarded a ferry to the Isla Nublar and came face to face with full sized dinosaurs including a tyrannosaurs rex, raptors and a brachiosaurs. They all had sound and motion so seemed very life like

My favourite dinosaur was  the t-rex and I also saw the

Jurassic Park jeep.

I’m happy to report that nobody was eaten on this adventure.

24 Scarecrows, made by local businesses, have been hidden around Knaresborough for you to find this spooky season!

Craft and Social's entry is now on display. Paddington in Peru!

Purchase a map for £3 from Knaresborough Pop Up, Painting Pots, or Crystal Buddha, and follow the trail to find all the scarecrows, then return your form to be entered into a prize draw to win a cash prize. 

The craft group have been working together to prepare a display in observation of Remembrance day on 11th November. 

 

Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

We remember the Armed Forces, and their families, and the vital role played by the emergency services.

Christmas is just right around the corner! Which means Santa's elves are very busy preparing for the upcoming celebration

This time of the year our elves are extra jolly singing and dancing to  Christmas tunes whilst they make their lovely gifts.

Whilst this year we wont be holding our own event, our gifts will be on sale at the Charity coffee morning being held at the Knaresborough United Reform Church on Saturday 4th November 10am - 12om
